The use of baselines is an important part of the portfolio and project functionality in Fortes Change Cloud. It provides the ability to look back at the previous planning stages of the portfolio or project.
A new feature has been made available on the portfolio here, which makes it possible to set this baseline for individual projects or milestones from the portfolio as well.
Go to the Milestone Planning tab in the portfolio.
- Then select the items (initiatives, projects or milestones) for which you want to set the baseline.
- Then from the Bulk Edit drowdown menu, click Add to initial baseline or Add to current baseline to adjust the initial or current baseline, respectively.
- A confirmation screen is now displayed showing all selected projects and milestones in a list. Here, click Save Initial Baseline or Save Current Baseline to apply the change.
