How do I use custom fields in capacity planning?

Is the column that you want to use not in the list of standard columns? Make the column yourself! Custom fields enable you to give portfolio items new properties and to keep all relevant information. This information is part of the portfolio item and can for example also be displayed in a canvas.

1. Create a custom field by clicking on Custom field configuration and then on CREATE CUSTOM FIELD
2. Select the desired field type from the custom field. A custom field for comments could, for example, be of the text type.
3. Enter the other information from the custom field.
4. Make sure that a custom field can also be used in a canvas by adding it to a new or existing canvas. You do this by adding a segment of the type of fields and selecting the custom field.
