Fortes Change Cloud uses canvases to provide project items with information and to display relevant data. This article explains the different canvas segment types. Read everything about the kanban board in the Project app.
Fields
The Fields type can be used to add different fields to a canvas. These are fields such as end date, start date and rank. The field segment is an easy way to quickly and clearly display information about a kanban card, a portfolio item or a project. The field list consists of standard fields (fields that are set by default in Fortes Change Cloud) and custom fields (fields that are specific to a project or portfolio within your organization). It is therefore possible for a custom field to be visible in a project, but not in a portfolio, or vice versa.
List
With the type list you can create an overview of different columns. For example, different object types can be added as goals or actions. This segment type is mainly used to create an overview that does not yet exist.
Text with formatting
This type adds a formatted text or image to a canvas. This can be used to display important information about a portfolio item or a process step.
