Team – Resource Capacity Planning

Fortes Change Cloud also supports Agile working. In doing so, it makes more sense to use Teams rather than separate skills.

The same functionality for Resource Capacity Planning on Skills is also available for Teams: for content, read the Resource Capacity Planning articles.

Teams created in ‘Jira connectivity‘ and /or ‘Azure DevOps connectivity‘ can be used.

For Resource Capacity Planning on Teams, the following preparations should be made in the Portfolio or Portfolio model.

1. Make Teams (+tags) available for Capacity Planning

2. Add the “Coarse estimation of team hours” segment in the change initiatives canvas

3. Activate ‘Capacity planning on teams’ tab

In the Portfolio, to add ‘Teams’ the following icon is available in the right bar:

Add the “Coarse estimation of team hours” segment in the canvas

There, choose the “Coarse estimation of team hours” segment.

Activate ‘Capacity planning on teams’ tab.
