Estimated hours can be entered in the Portfolio. One way to do this is on the Portfolio item detail page (canvas).

These hours are stored in the FCC as bookings of the “Coarse Estimate” type. Because these “Coarse Estimates” move with the portfolio item’s schedule, no start and end date was set for these entries.
If you want to report (e.g. through an automatic report in Excel) then it is useful if the entries do have a start and end date. Therefore, this has now been added to make reporting easier.
Important: the stored start and end date continues to move with the Portfolio item’s schedule.
