To make the models more convenient to work with, some changes have been made and some features have been added.
Model settings and navigation from app
From a Kanban view in, for example, the Portfolio App, it is possible to view the model settings. For admin users, it is also possible to directly navigate to that model to apply changes or to directly change which model is used for that portfolio. The following interactive guide shows you how.
New model tab
Models are now accessable from the Portfolio, Programme and Project apps. A new Models tab is available in each app, but only visible to administrators. This tab provides a centralized overview of all available models and shows the Organizational Unit that the model belongs to. It is also possible to archive models and to view the archived models.
Model banner
To help users understand when they are working within a model, a persistent alert message is now displayed at the top of the screen. This message remains visible across all views within the app.
- The alert clearly indicates that you are inside a model.
- Clicking the alert opens the Model Configuration panel.
- This feature replaces the previous behavior where model context was only visible on certain screens.
