Start

Introduction​

What is the Start app? The Start app is the entry point of Fortes Change Cloud. After you log in, it opens your personal homepage: a landing page that gives you an overview of everything you are involved in across the organization. From here you navigate to the other apps and, with the right rights, to the organization-wide, organizational-unit, and portfolio configuration.

Who uses it? Everyone uses the Start homepage as their starting point. Administrators additionally use the Start app to reach organization-wide, organizational-unit, and portfolio settings.

Your personal homepage​

The homepage shows a personalized overview of your work. Depending on your roles and rights, it can include:

  • Portfolios and projects in which you have an (active) role.
  • Logbook items that you own.
  • Timesheets you have submitted or that are still pending.
  • Approval requests: documents that are waiting for your approval.

Personalizing your homepage​

Use Page settings to choose which parts are shown on your personal start page, so the homepage reflects the information that matters most to you.

Administration and configuration​

Beyond the personal homepage, the Start app is where administrators reach the settings that apply across the environment:

  • Users and access: how roles, rights, scopes, groups, and organizational units work is described in Roles and rights.
  • Organization-wide, organizational-unit, and portfolio configuration: see the Configuration overview for the available settings and where to find them.
