Reset Embedded Power BI Dashboards from Model
You can now reset an embedded Power BI dashboard directly from the dashboard tab, restoring it to its default template. This makes it easy to keep dashboards consistent across portfolios without manual reconfiguration.
How to reset a dashboard
- Open the Dashboard tab in the Portfolio App, a model, or the Insights App.
- Select the kebab menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of the dashboard tab.
- Choose Reset report to default.
The reset behavior depends on where you are:

When to use this
If a dashboard has been customized locally and you want to return it to the shared baseline defined on the model, use this reset instead of reconfiguring it manually. This is especially useful when the model's dashboard template has been updated and you want a portfolio to pick up the latest version.
