About PTB
PTB stands for Principal Toolbox, the previous generation of the application. Several settings and screens still carry this name: 'PTB portfolios' and 'PTB functionality' refer to the classic way of working from the Principal Toolbox era, kept available for environments that have not (fully) moved to the new apps. New environments typically work with the PPM or Hybrid modes in the new Portfolio app; the PTB settings exist for backwards compatibility.
For what the portfolio modes mean for users, see My portfolios and modes in the user documentation.
