Currency

Manage the currencies and currency rates used in financial planning. The subject Currencies has three sub-pages.

Settings​

  • Number of currency decimals: the number of decimals used when displaying currency values (default 2).

Define Currencies​

The list of available currencies, each with a name, abbreviation, and symbol (e.g. Euro / EUR / €). One currency is marked as the default currency. Add the currencies your organization plans in before entering rates.

Currency Rates​

Exchange rates per currency, expressed in units per Euro, with a start date per rate. This makes rate changes historically traceable: amounts are converted with the rate that was valid in the period concerned.

Note: Currencies must be defined before rates can be entered.
