A New Knowledge Base
The Fortes Change Cloud knowledge base has been rebuilt. It replaces the previous knowledge base with a faster, fully searchable site that is available in English and Dutch, and that is versioned alongside the product.
Previously the documentation lived on a separate platform, with one language, no version history, and no structured link between an article and the part of the product it described. With this update the knowledge base ships with the product and is reachable from inside it.
What is new
- English and Dutch. Articles are available in both languages, and the language switcher in the header keeps you in your chosen language while navigating.
- Search across all articles. Full-text search covers the whole knowledge base rather than a single section.
- Versioning. Documentation is kept per release, so you can read the articles that match the version you are running.
- Release notes in the knowledge base. Release notes now live in their own section of the site, alongside the user and technical documentation, instead of being distributed separately.

Reaching it from the product
The Help button is now in the same place in every app, looks the same everywhere, and links directly to the knowledge base.
Each topic has its own icon, and the tabs and apps in FCC map onto their matching knowledge base articles, so opening help from a screen takes you to the documentation for that screen rather than to a generic landing page.
Language in the URL
The site handles the language part of the address, so a link such as /nl/... opens the article in Dutch. Links you share therefore keep the language you intended.
Content and quality
All Dutch placeholder articles have been translated, and the translation fallbacks were corrected so a partly translated section no longer drops back to English unexpectedly.
Every tab and app in FCC now has a matching knowledge base article, closing the gaps where help pointed nowhere. The site build enforces strict validation, so broken links and missing references are caught before publication rather than after.
The header layout was fixed for smaller screens, so the knowledge base is usable on a narrow window and on mobile.
